Yellow Ribbon Program

Activity Report March 18,2010
On Tuesday evening the first Yellow Ribbon Community
meeting was held at the Grace Church in Eden Prairie,
Minnesota.
We had contacted every community organization listed in the
Yellow Ribbon brochure and received positive responses from
all the organizations.
A presentation of the program and reports of other programs
and cities was given by Lt. Col. O'Rielly the commander of the
Yellow Ribbon staff for the National Guard and several of her
associates. Attending from the Eden Prairie Community were
Scott Neal, city manager of Eden Prairie, Pat Mulqueeny,
President of Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce, Robert
Reynolds, Chief of Police, Herb Foster a bussiness man of the
community, Our Commander, Howard Johnson, Senior Vice
Commander, Cliff Laughlin and the Service Officer.
Our VFW Committee will be meeting to discus our next steps in
the program and will be meeting with the other groups as well.
The Yellow Ribbon Program is growing in Minnesota and we
intend to grow with it.
